HBCU Initiatives





The Pack Rat Foundation for Education: HBCU Initiative raises much-needed funds for all 105 Historically Black Colleges and Universities and offer tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to contestants. As part of the HBCU Initiative, Sheryl Underwood and The Core DJ’s Worldwide presented the National NPHC Stroll Contest and Step Show and Ultimate Battle of the DJs in support of Underwood’s Pack Rat Foundation for Education 


NPHC Stroll Contest and Step Show

The NPHC Stroll Contest and Step Show is only open to National Pan-Hellenic Council member organizations and is an opportunity for fraternities and sororities to showcase their organizations.


Ultimate Battle of the DJs

The Ultimate Battle of the DJs is open to anyone with skill, a dream and a desire to change their lives by spinning music for the masses.  There is no fee to register to participate.


Get Your Praise on HBCU Choir Sing Off

The HBCU Choir Sing-Off is a unique opportunity for HBCU Choirs to compete on a level playing field and develop their skills and stage presence to prepare them for larger competitions, touring to raise funds for their school or a recording opportunity.
